Q. What is the age group?
A. 16 or older, or high school graduate.
Q. What is the range of disabilities?
A. Moderate to high functioning.
Q. Is it a safe environment?
A. ADS is HCBS certified with a safety and fire inspection. The grounds are also enclosed and gated.
Q. Are there friendly/patient staff members to meet my familys' needs?
A. All of our staff are warm and welcoming people who have been Article 9 certified.
Q. Can I choose from a full-time or part-time schedule?
A. We believe that to receive the most benefit from the program, members should be enrolled full-time. Full-time is considered 7 hours a day, not including transportation. Transportation is only available to those enrolled full-time. Part-time will be reviewed on a case by case basis.
Q. What is the earliest time I can drop off my son or daughter?
A. 8:45 am.
Q. What is the latest time I can pick up my son or daughter?
A. 4:00 pm.
Q. What time is the transportation pick up and drop off?
A. Pick up and drop off time depends on location. Always within 20 minutes of scheduled time.
Q. Can someone other than a parent or guardian pick up my son or daughter?
A. The parent or guardian will have to fill out paperwork ahead of time to make these arrangements.
Q. Is ADS closed on holidays?
A. ADS is closed on all major state and national holidays. Parents and/or guardians will be informed in advance.
Q. What are the days and hours of operation?
A. Monday through Friday 9am to 4pm.
Q. What are the staff credentials?
A. All staff are CPR, First Aid and Article 9 certified. Please see the contact us page to read more on individual staff members.
Q. What is the staff ratio to participants?
A. There is 1 staff member for every 4.5 members.
Q. Are meals and snacks included?
A. No. However, as a part of our program, we will be cooking and lunch and snacks may be a result. We ask for a nominal fee to help cover lunches and snacks.

A. Just a few of the independent life skills we offer: cooking and food management, technology training, money management, personal hygiene and appearance, transportation, housekeeping, and community socializing.
