Peanut Butter & Butterscotch Haystacks with Chow Mein Noodles
They may not look like much, but trust me these are on of my favorites that has been in the family every Christmas as long as I can remember. They are also super easy to make.
12 oz Peanut Butter
1 - 12 oz pkg. Butterscotch Chips
1 - 12 oz pkg of Chow Mein Noodles
Melt butterscotch chips over hot water in a double boiler on a simmer. Add peanut butter and chow mein noodles, mix well. Drop by tablespoons onto greased cookie sheet an push together to form haystacks. You can add peanuts, marshmallows or chocolate chips. If you don't want to cook on stove you can slowly melt the butterscotch in the microwave in a microwave safe bowl. Be careful, you can easily over cook butterscotch.
