This week I’m going to talk about ways that social media can improve
everyone’s self-esteem. In the past I have had many negative experiences with social
media but there are ways that it can be positive as well.
Social media can be a place for people to share their fun experiences and
things they do that make them happy. It can also make people more self-confident
because family and friends are able to show that they care by commenting on
pictures with nice things. Sometimes when you are feeling lonely you are able to use
social media to connect with other people who have interests like you. This is a way
to keep in contact with your friends and family.
In my personal experience I had gotten a new cell phone that was pink and
grey for Christmas from my mom and dad. I was all jittery inside because I would be
able to Facetime with my family members and IM with family and friends. Facebook,
twitter, and Tango are a good way for me to stay in touch with the people I care
